I have redesigned Frida's Rose Jacket which was made with inspiration from the life and art of artist Frida Kahlo.

The jacket has a raglan yoke, rose patterned yoke, stripes on the sleeves and crocheted plackets. Knitted in Sterk from Du Store Alpakka.

YARN

Strong, 40% finest alpaca, 40% merino wool, 20% nylon from Du Store Alpakka.

Yarn consumption:

300 (300) 300 (350) 350 g grey-black melange no. 808 = color 1. 100 (100) 150 (150) 150 g black no. 809 = color 2. 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g red-purple no. 832 = color 3. 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g red melange no. 891 = color 4.

50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g dark pink no. 825 = color 5.

PINS

Circular needles and single-point needles size 3, 3.5 and possibly size 4 if you are working tight when knitting patterns. Crochet hook size 2.5.

KNITTING TENSION

22 sts in stocking st on needles size 3.5 mm = 10 cm in width.

ACCESSORIES

8 round mother-of-pearl buttons, I used red ones.
